My absolute favorite game of the year. Despite some frustrating janky-ness in some of the gameplay, the story was pretty near flawless. The gameplay was interesting and compelling. I felt like a master when I took down a challenging boss. I didn't want to stop playing the game once I finished playing for the day - so that's a win in my book.

Death's Door was everything I look for in an action-adventure game. A beautiful world to explore, a mystery to solve, satisfying and interesting combat, and unusual and interesting characters to encounter. Honestly I can't fault it, and although I was sorry to leave it once I was done I do think it was just about the right length.
