Acting and visuals was on point. It was really easy being emerged in the story, and the feelings Henry felt at any time. I was stressed, happy, relieved and scared together with him.

But I was just as disappointed as he was, about the ending. It felt like nothing I did throughout the game meant anything by the end. Everything that had happened that summer was going to be forgotten, and all the mysteries and feelings where thrown out or shoved under a rug the last 5 minutes of the game.

And, it annoys me, because it had potential. Yes a lot of the mechanics where flawed, and yes, there was a lot of confusion when playing through the game, and YES, there where way too many invisible borders. But the experience up to that last day, it was so emerging and engaging, that I think Firewatch deserved a proper ending.
