Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is a charming and well excecuted game. When I first heard about the game I was thrilled, a norwegian game about moominvalley!? When I saw the trailer I was dragged in; the artstyle, the music, the characters and the sound effects. The feeling it all gave was exactly the feeling a game about moominvalley should have, it impressed me.
Even though I know I don't like story-based games, I had to try it. My normal anoyances with story-games were still there, the waiting, the repetition, the really obvious "puzzles" and the straightforward game design: "go here, go here, then do this, go back, talk with character, finnish quest" it never really tickled my brain worms. The game didn't allow me to think outside the box, and that's fine. It's a genre for a reason.
I really did enjoy the other parts of this game though, the animations and cutscenes are amazing, the music really hit the right vibe, the music mechanic was cute, the world looked and feelt amazing, it really came to life, lastly the norwegian translation really hit home for me. I haven't choosen to have my native language in a game in forever, and that was a breath of fresh air.

Storyteller is a game I've had on my radar for a while, and when I saw it was avaliable for download on mobile, it didn't take long til I got 100%.
It's a well-executed inovative idea in the puzzle-game genre. Putting together a story, based on a given title, is so much more fun and enticing than it seemed to me on paper, and I enjoyed my time with this game very much. I loved the different characters and scenarios, with all their well drawn emotions and smooth animations. I'm impressed by how the story comes to life as you plot in the panels, the fact that the characters react differently to the same situation, how the endgame content show everything that the game has to offer and how it makes you think in new and interesting ways.
All in all, a good experience.
One thing I would have to complain about is how tedious it is to shuffle through all the chapters when doing endgame content. You have to go into each story, flip through, check if it works, and if not, flip over to another chapter and go through their pages.
The only actually frustrating part about this game.

Kinda disapointing dlc, nothing really happened here. Dregde hit the same iceberg (hehe..) as it did with the main game; they just don't know how to finnish a story.
The first half of the dlc shows so much potential, and then, at the tension's peak, everything falters, you're done with the dlc. That's it, nothing more to see, catch the rest of the fish and get all achievements.
I have to say that I do enjoy the aesthetic and the completion of the achievements, so I didn't have a bad time, but there is SO much wasted potential.
