Dated in a sense and it takes a while for the colossus battles to open up but there's a simplicity and beauty in the world. Almost felt like too much exposition at the end but a perfectly paced game that never feels too difficult or too repetitive. Not sure I'll ever replay it or go for time trials due to the lax controls but understandable why this is considered a classic

Fuck that ending but the rest is great platforming gameplay. Wonderful art style and a relaxing score make for a memorable experience. Not extremely difficult but anyone able to beat this in one-life mode is beyond hardcore
