Devs did a good job in updating the graphics of this classic title providing colorful modern updated graphics that can be toggled to the old/retro graphics with the push of a button.

Unfortunately, that's about where the pros stop. This remake still employs funky physics in the form of slippery platforming, bad animations that end up working against you (i.e. punching) and unforgiving hitboxes. Thankfully, I played this game as part of my PS Plus subscription and didn't have to pay outright or buy it which I almost did several times in the past since I love platformers but this is an easy "pass and move on" for me.
