Played this via the Kirby's Dream Collection for the Nintendo Wii. Kirby's Adventure is a big improvement over the first Game Boy game and provides a more colorful and ambitious game with better graphics, gameplay/combat, and overall level design.

This remains one of my favorite Kirby games and it is very interesting to see how Nintendo managed to create a wholesome adventure late in the NES's system lifecycle.
