Perhaps my favorite game with Suda51's involvement. No More Heroes is far from being an exemplary and polished game yet its unique setting, characters, and overall quirkiness are able to create a unique experience. That unique experience admittedly is not for everyone but if you are able to get immersed in the world of Santa Destroy and embrace its characters you will be along for a fun journey.
Graphics feature a cel-shaded look that is very appropriate with the game and its characters. Detail is good for characters but environments are not detailed and tend to have bland looks and low-quality textures making exploration of Santa Destroy not as fun or intriguing as I would have hoped. Performance is not great on the Wii with poor framerate. Gameplay is fun but it can become repetitive. However, the gameplay reward comes in the form of the different quirky and over-the-top boss battles that the game offers.
