If you play this game like a normal game then you will NOT have fun
but if you play it to just explore and soak in the atmosphere then you'll see a really interesting game with some of the best music, environments and atmosphere that I've ever seen
When I finished it I had to use a guide for some obtuse effects which kinda sucked but I actually dont think the game was intended to be finished at all because the ending leaves a lot to the imagination
I liked it a lot and will think about it for a long long time

ITS PEAK
When I played bomb rush for the first time I was instantly really interested in it based off the aesthetic it created. Bomb rush looks so cool with the type of models they use, the music, and even the one liners they say when doing tricks. It really made me feel like I was playing a dreamcast game again but much more polished and modern in a good way.
Not to tangent about modern games but a lot of times modern triple a games by comparison (COUGH SONY COUGH) feel modern just by graphics and a basic type of gameplay that satisfies the masses
But by comparison bomb rush feels like it doesn't care what people think and caters to its niche perfectly by the things I listed but also the gameplay which I haven't even mentioned yet.
The gameplay is one of the smoothest, most stylish games I've ever played in my life and it feels so satisfying to maintain my score as I move around the world. I've heard people say its too easy to maintain your score and true but I feel like that doesn't matter so much as it just looking cool and feeling good.
Music is also very unique as said earlier and I think its really cool that they use real artists as well as make their own songs for the game similar to jet set radio. The ost is entirely different from JSR but its own unique vibe that I still listen to months after playing the game.
Not going into the story too much to keep it spoiler free but I loved it just for keeping me engaged and having good twists at the end, but like I said I have to keep it vague so there's no spoilers
