Out of the limited generations that I've played, I've always had kinda a soft spot for Emerald. Obviously, this kinda follows the trend of "everyone's favorite Pokemon game is the one they grew up with!" and I think it still kinda holds true for me. I just think it's got some really memorable gym battles, plus it has my goat Mudkip. This review is very biased lol

Played it a lot as a kid, was a good bonding experience for me and my sister, and I think it has had a decent amount of influence over my taste in music. The best part was the destruction, but I can't say I remember much else about it.
