Damn I don't know if Mario Kart 9 will ever come out but if it doesn't, then this would've one incredible way to end it. First there's the retro tracks, they don't just recycle tracks, they completely revamp them with new routes and looks. I thought the tracks in mk64 were boring but this made the tracks a blast to race on. And the new tracks are great too, with a ton of variety and flare to each while having good challenge. Mt Wario is goated. This game basically just takes the best aspects of all Mario karts (minus double dash) and mashes them together and it works fantastically.
