The best Metroidvenia I’ve ever played.
Didn’t play a lot of games form that genre,
But i can see why this is quite good.
The gameplay and the level design is the game advantage,
The are tons of mechanics that you can earn and try,
But sadly there are some useless ones, the “Summon bat” kinda thing.
The level design is good but sometimes it’s just a straight path, but not a big problem, most of the time the level design is excellent.
There are many different demons that you can fight and earn shards from and that’s just amazing, but as I said some of them are useless.
And the boss fights are good but quite easy, the only challenging bosses are:
-Zangitsu: What a good boss with four different fazes, He requires sow much skill and concentration, and always makes you try to think about some new strategy that you can use against him.
-Gremory: not as good as Zangitsu but she’s good as well.
-O.D: one of the best bosses in the game if not the best, and he gives an extremely good shard, pretty challenging and requires a lot of skill to beat.
-Dominique: For me it’s the best boss in the game, she’s so fast and have so much move set that she can use against you.
And I have my own strategy against her.
The soundtrack is just perfect and it’s similar to her shop soundtrack which is more and more amazing.
Well the story isn’t good but it’s a Metroidvenia so it doesn’t matter.
And the world is just so beautiful, every area has its own theme,Enemys,soundtrack and it’s so good.
And the game rewards you in a very satisfying way every time you explore more.
There are a lot of hidden mechanics and bosses as well, but the main bosses are way better, you can consider them as a mini-bosses more than an actual boss fight.
