Spectacular. I tried to play the original in high school and could never get past the first big village horde. So glad I decided to give the remake a shot—I can see why the original was such a classic. Great combat, a great story, fun puzzles, cool guns . . . Oh, and most impressive of all, a big long escort mission that I didn’t hate.

The Last of Us wishes it was as good as Resident Evil.
