Final Fantasy 16 truly was a phenomenal game from start to finish. The game immediately grabbed me in the beginning as I played the demo, and I was hooked for the long journey this game took me on. The game's narrative isn't super complex or groundbreaking, but it still serves the game very well. The true strong point of this game's writing has to be its characters; The characters have such a strong start in the story, and seeing how they develop throughout made this one of my favorite casts by far.

This game has such an awesome action combat system, and the boss fights are so fucking epic. They mix cinematics into the combat flawlessly and it makes for such an awesome experience in this game. The only complaint i have here is that I wish the party members were more involved in combat, something slightly similar to Kingdom Hearts' party system would have been nice. Again, I'd just like to make a big note about this game and its boss fights because they are so memorable and executed so well. The cinematics behind some of the more intense story bosses are just so beautiful and awesome that I truly believe no other game comes close to what I experienced in this title.

Onto the more negative points of this game is some of the MMO-styling of the Open world. There are a lot of side quests that are fetch quests or are just plain annoying. There are also a lot of side quests that build up certain characters and ones that are just really great. It's a bit of a mixed bag with the games sidequests and I think everyone should be aware of that. I would also like to note that this game has an awful traversal system lol. Thankfully you get a chocobo later in the game but Clive is definitely a slower runner than he needs to be. There is also some unfortunately paced moments in the story that can be pretty hard to get through, but I'm glad to report that they were worth it.

Overall, this game is really amazing despite some of the off-putting parts throughout it. The characters are stellar, the combat is peak, and it's just an all-around gorgeous game. Also I should mention that the music is a complete banger.

So far this game kinda sucks donkey balls. The pacing and combat are god-awful trash. The story feels incredibly pointless and completely misguided. The only thing good about this game is that the characters are cool and some of the set pieces are pretty cool too. I'm not excited to play more when I get around to it.

dogshit game but I got a fucking t-rex around my wrist now

MY LIFE FOR SUPERRRRRRRR EARTHHHHH!!!!! - Helldiver in the middle of distributing Democracy

As an arcade game, your only job is to be fun, but this one is perfect.

Live service Rock Band, it's pretty awesome to have this in Fortnite. Seeing your favorite collab skin shred on the guitar or rock out on the drums is really the coolest part about this, it doesn't feel real at times. The gameplay is guitar hero without a guitar controller (yet) so it's pretty up to standards for that genre. Rhythm game fans should love this and casuals will have fun with it too. The only thing that is unfortunate is the non-existent tracklist, songs cost money but you get a select amount of free songs to play everyday. This is only a handful as of now due to the mode just being introduced and there not being very many songs in the game, so hopefully the daily limit will increase. The upside is that songs people own are shared between band members, so if you have a pretty consistent party you shouldn't be having to buy all the songs. There's also a jam mode where you can mix loops from songs with other songs, which is really cool. Songs will also become lobby tracks soon. These things add more value to having to purchase the individual songs in-game. There might be albums soon, too. I'm eager to see how this game progresses in the future.

An extremely fun and competitive arcade party game. It's a great measurement of reaction time and speed. I had a lot of fun bringing this over to friends' houses and challenging them to chop trees. There's a lot of cool character references, too. Fun little title that cost me like 39 cents on the eShop, worth every penny.

Honestly this DLC stinks lol, the new area is cool and Kieran and Carmine are cool characters, but the story is kinda dumb and the new legendaries are also pretty lame. Except Ogrepon; Ogrepon is cute. 2 stars for Ogrepon

I have little to say about this one other than it being a near perfect RTS game

PIKMIN SWEEP

I stumbled upon a new game on the Nintendo eShop recently. It intrigued me, drawing me closer with its mysterious aura. Costing a grand total of 3 United States dollars, I was eager to indulge myself into this new game. It quickly installed on my console, and my eyes were greeted with the words, "Suika Game."

What I found inside was a game unlike anything I had ever seen. A physics-based matching game. The rules were simple: combine similar fruits together, and they would turn into larger fruits, trying to make the largest fruit possible: the watermelon. The catch? You need to match the fruits together without having them spill over the top of the container they're in.
My curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to partake in this entertainment. Initially, it seemed like harmless fun. I matched fruits strategically, watching them turn into oranges, or grapefruits. The game rewarded me with satisfaction, doing my best to achieve the watermelon, until the fruits inevitably spilled over the top of the box, demanding that I try once again.
My days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. My obsession with this game grew, consuming my every waking moment. Sleep became a luxury I could scarcely afford. I neglected my duties, withdrew from my friends, and slowly became a recluse, bound to this eternal game.
But as time wore on, darkness began to seep into my lone reality. I could no longer tell where the game ended and the real world began. My surroundings twisted and contorted, and my once familiar home turned into a maze of otherworldly corridors. The fruits in the game no longer resembled their earthly counterparts, instead, morphing into grotesque abominations—twisted amalgamations of flesh and decay.
My mind began to crumble under the weight of the cosmic horrors that have invaded my existence. My nights were haunted by eldritch nightmares, and my days filled with tormenting visions. The fruits seemed to mock me, their unblinking eyes filled with malice.
As the years passed, I could feel my body withering away, but my soul remained tethered to the eternal game. I became a mere husk, existing solely to match fruits together.

Residents whispered tales of a madman who played a cursed game, never daring to venture near the house where he was trapped.
Legend has it that the game still exists, waiting for another unsuspecting soul to stumble upon it. Beware the allure of endless entertainment, for sometimes the price of eternal play is the loss of one's sanity.

baby yoshi is cute but damn this game is so bland for a mario title, all i remember is acorns

almost as bad as smb 2

"The Proud do not Endure."

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the most uniquely impressive Open World games to date. For a genre that is quickly on its way to becoming oversaturated, with constant new games trying to adopt the formula, this one feels like a gem among the rocks.

This game is STUNNING visually, and it doesn't sacrifice the color and art of the world despite its realism approach. The beauty in this world is top notch, there are plenty of different environments on the island of Tsushima, it never quite loses its appalling visual appeal during the game, and never sacrifices its life and color. Another reason that this title is a fresh breath of air comparatively, it exemplifies the beauty of nature and architecture throughout the experience.
Furthermore, parts of the gameplay feel so ingrained into the world, and it provides another layer of immersion to the game. For example, you track and follow your objectives via the "Guiding Wind" - a breeze of wind headed in the direction of where the player is due. The in-world activities, like fox dens, shrines, and composing haikus all represent an important part of Japanese culture, further richening the substance here.

The melee combat system is simple, but glorious. It's similar to a soulslike but feels much more immersive and responsive in nature. Especially on the ps5, the feedback of your katana clashing over your controller speaker provides the smallest detail, yet makes for the better experience. As a samurai, you can play defensively, or offensively, giving you plenty of options in how you want to receive your enemies. You can also forfeit your honor code, and start stealthily assassinating your enemies or poisoning them; anything to drive off the Mongolian invasion. Every enemy poses a valid threat, and dealing with them makes combat all the more interesting. It's an action combat system, but each encounter is more interactive than a button combo. This is a big part of the reason why this game has such an interesting gameplay loop. It plays quite uniquely in comparison to other action combat systems.

"Eyes that saw my pain
A bond forever broken
Will death redeem us?"

The story takes place during a brutal Mongolian invasion of the island of Tsushima, defended by the honorable Samurai. The Mongolians quickly show the flaws of the Samurai honor code, as they resort to brutal and terror tactics to easily subdue the honorable warriors. As one of the few remaining survivors of this effective invasion, Jin Sakai must do whatever it takes to defend his home, abiding by his honor code or not - becoming something of a rogue warrior fighting to protect his people.

This quickly became one of my favorite war stories ever, wrapping the player up in a conflict that changed Clan Sakai forever. This made for a very heartfelt story while playing such an incredible game. A beautiful experience.

Overall, it's one of the most compelling games produced by a PlayStation Studio, and a must-have for your PS4 or 5 imo. Another one of the titles I truly do recommend. Easiest 5 star of my life, I LOVED this game.

Map was very mediocre and so was the loot pool. Why did you play this season? To see the new collab every week. It was awesome seeing all these IPs pulled into Fortnite. Probably the only reason it has a decent rating though.

Shitty battle pass and absolutely awful live event and garbage fortnitemares content. The map was really ugly looking but it flowed very smoothly, great gameplay throughout this season thanks to the map and lootpool.
