I used to play games while listening to music a lot back when I was younger, even if it was story games like New Vegas. I really don't do it so much anymore because that music isnt from the game, I want to experience the actual game.

Anyways whenever I listened to Bangarang EP, I remember the little shanties buildings under the highway, I think a deathclaw is there.

Playing multiplayer of Gears of War 2, listening to Hollywood Undead, American Tragedy, now this is the teenage life.

Day One Map Comes to my mind the most.

A Xbox 360 child who didn't have Minecraft, Total Miner was the SHIT. Around the time I bought my middle school gf a CD for Blood on the Dance Floor's All the Rage from the local stoner shop for her birthday. I ripped it to my Xbox 360 (remember when the 360 could just play music over ANY game? that shit was crazy).
I specifically remember I was building a road that connected things I built, one of them being a Walmart.

Now I don't remember if I actually listened to Dookie while playing Mercenaries 2, but whenever Billy Joe says "Let's Nuke the Bridge we burned 2000 times before in F.O.D., it always makes me think of destroying the FUCK out of the bridges in this game.

At some point I lost internet, or I lost my PC, I cant remember which exactly, so I borrowed Borderlands 1 GOTY for the X360 from my friend and went to town. I did have a small notebook type laptop that I played music from and now the visuals of the General Knoxx DLC, with the sprawling highways and small psychos come up when I hear The Money Store

You know the drone level in Modern Warfare, where you are shooting through the Drone's pov? The Marshall Mathers LP was for sure playing then.

Now this is an actually recent association, cause Forza is a game where I will actually just listen to my own music and play. I listened to the whole Deftones discog this way.

I vividly remember some section of a campaign (I think Blood Harvest L4D1??) with a house and a train bridge right next to it. I was listening to My Chemical Romance's first album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love.

The poop green slime ass junkyard level and Bad Religion are stuck together. I dont remember if it was Stranger than Fiction or Recipe for Hate, one of those two albums for sure.

These minecraft ones are gonna be more recent associations because I actually had a world to play on with friends, so I just listened to music and started mining. One of them is when I went through Green Day's discog, I remember the rough landscape of hills and trees when King for a Day played.

I'm also pretty sure I remember making a shit ton of clay for my brick house when I was listening to Warning

Another world was made with the same friend group, I was exploring an abandoned mine while listening to Lingua Ignota

Had Red Hot Chili Pepper's album Stadium Arcadium loaded into my Xbox, listened to that while on the Skate Heaven map.
