An excellent game. This feels like the culmination of every game in the series, progressing and modernising things in the right way. 9 and 10 had the retro thing going on which was okay, but I'm glad for 11, they've finally caught up to the 21st century. The art style and graphics look great, even on the Switch.

Levels continue to be challenging and frustrating, but thankfully, for this entry, never completely unfair (except maybe for those balloons in Bounce Man's stage). As long as you keep trying, you will eventually beat them. Multiple difficulty options means that players can find the right setting for themselves as well. Very cool.

Mega Man has all of his moves back (thank god) and the controls feel great. Mega Man doesn't feel too slow or slippery. The Double Gear mechanic was also fun to utilise in each level, and got me out of more than a few tight spots. The special weapons are used well in each level, making certain sections way less of a pain in the ass if you have them. Mega Man having a unique design for each one is a welcomed change as it helps distinguish between them.

Shop is nice. Voice acting is decent. Overall, it's a great package. I would recommend this as a good first Mega Man game, but it might be shitty going back to older ones after this. Still, I would say to play this 100% if you're interested in the Mega Man franchise.
