Gee, I sure hope whoever wrote this season has a steady employment moving forward.

Somehow managed to save the game from sunsetting, pvp stasis AND a dogshit narrative, over 7 years in the making.

A "man" type game for sure; I seriously look forward to know why Chrono Cross is so divisive.

This game is BROKEN on PC. You have to jump through hoops to get it in a playable state. Beyond that, the gameplay, is incredibly barebones and unengaging. The parkour, the atmosphere and the intrigue are the best aspects of this game, however, the parkour is noticeably clunky at times, the atmosphere is very hit or miss, and the intrigue doesn't get all that good until the end once you have read the Abstergo logs. Don't play this game unless you're a die hard fan; start with literally any other game.

A fun and satisfying gameplay loop that hard carries literally everything else.

Holy bad dialogue, this has some bad dialogue- at least the activity and weapons are pretty neat.

The Coil, while infuriating at first, is quite fun and is very generous with rewards assuming you have an established build to take you further; the conclusion to Mara's arc is poignant but a bit underwhelming.

The gameplay loop is still as solid and as fun as it was in Mk DS; the removal of a dedicated missions mode hurts, however, the addition of Kart customization, gliding, underwater segments, ramp boosting from the console games, first person and so many other things, brings this entry up to the same level as its predecessor, in my eyes.

Definitely one of the games of all time; neat ideas but the combat is asymmetrical in its quality.

Easily the best one with how ambitious its load outs and story were, still just a mobile game.

Much more refined, but still just a mobile game.

Definitely hasn't aged well, but I have fond memories of this.

Holy scuffed, this shit was scuffed.

'Defiance' is a very apt subtitle because this game managed to 'defy' expectations, and not be one of the worst things I have ever had the pleasure of playing.

Revving up the blade wheel is the biggest pain in the ass without a stylus. Aside from that, this game threads the fine line between 'bad' and 'mid' leaning more towards the former.
