Another game I had shelved due to my fleeting (and suspected ADHD) attention span of my brain, this one wowed me with the beautiful, Studio Ghibli-style animation in it's opening that highlights the oncoming adventure.
The main character is the son of a hunter who, as is their task, has to hunt monsters, taming them to use as his own fighters, but also to sell for resources with the help of his wife too from an arranged marriage where she performs the duties of weaving monster silk from captured creatures which are sold as a commodity in this world.
Something bad has happened and you are called upon to take up your father's position and cull the monsters.
The game has a really fun mechanic with mutating creatures when you crossbreed them to the point I had some really weird and messed-up looking creatures that were pretty fun to use in combat and ended up being pretty devastating too!
I need to get back to this to properly finish this, but for now I'd certainly recommend people check it out and see how they feel about this game and it's mechanics.
