Booting up your shitty ps3, the game freezing every couple of hours, the washed out greens and hours spent walking through the capital wasteland looking for a sense of self among the ruins of an empire... unparalleled experience.

I would say this was the start of this era of Bethesda more than Oblivion was and as buggy as it was it was pretty fun time traversing a really ugly world
