I fucking hate this game with the passion of a thousand exploding stars. 10/10

This game lets me LARP as an edgy goth girl to a bunch of weirdos I'll (hopefully) never meet in my life. 10/10.

That buildup throughout 2 games, and Kiryu doesn't meet with Haruka again on camera...
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

That rock, paper, scissors minigame carries this entire game.

The game really said "π’•πŽ£ π’Œ¨π’†Έπ’‘š'𒇲𒀼 𒇲𒀼𒋻𒁓𒐕𒐖𒋝 π’ˆ¦π’€‚π’•π’”Ό, π“π’†Έπ’–π’‹π’‡²π’‹»π’ˆ¦π’‘šπ’‡π’‹»π’ˆ¦π’•π’†Έπ’–π’”Ό, π’Œ¨π’†Έπ’‘š'πŽπ’€Ό π’‰Όπ’‹»π’”Όπ’ˆ¦π’€Όπ’“ π’Œ¨π’†Έπ’‘šπ’‡² π’ˆ¦π’•πŽ π’€Ό!! :𒁓" and I felt that. :')

The bomb being a fake-out feels like a lazy explanation for the characters surviving that whole ordeal. It's like the writer realized at the last hour that he/she couldn't have Kiryu poetically dying with Ryuji, in the arms of mommy cop, because they had to make a third game.

Also, that whole thing about Kiryu abandoning Haruka and Date in the helicopter β€” his adoptive daughter and one of his best friends/allies, who flew all the way out to the Millennium Tower, risking themselves being trapped in the ensuing explosion of Terada's bomb just to save him β€” just because he was in love... I don't know, I really think it goes against his character and the way it has been represented up until now.

Aside from that, the game's great... except for the moments the studio decided would sound better with a SiM song, instead of the original Jazz soundtrack. I hate those changes with the burning passion of a thousand suns.

Short, but hard-hitting. This would've been the perfect end for Kiryu's journey through the Yakuza world. It's a shame 7 & 8 decided to desecrate his metaphorical tomb just to harness its sweet member berries.

The story's convoluted af, but the game let's me be a pretty idol princess, so it's an automatic 10/10 for me.

Combat's fun and fluid once you overcome your SKILL ISSUEs.

TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT

Some people may crucify me for saying this, but this entire game feels like one of those horny Yakuza minigames (you know the ones), just without the context of Kiryu/Majima/Ichiban's adventure through Japan's underbelly.

Aside from the whole cringy date with a japanese model I know nothing about thing, it was pretty fun. 10/10
