Omar asked me to play some FFXIV with him and one of his Discord buddies, and I had a good time! It was nice to be invited to play with someone since it had been a while since Brice and I had played. We did all of our roulettes and I ended up with a Lvl 57 Machinist which is great! Going to play more again soon hopefully - I hope Franco is a person I can be friends with in the future!

I am now all caught up with my Machinist quests! It has been engaging, mostly. Returning to Ishgard is nice but not as thrilling as it would have been a couple of years ago. I miss those days of FFXIV... Oh well. Knocked out two more Yo-Kai weapons too! Only 12 left, haha!

Completed the Level 50 Machinist quest and am almost caught up up to my actual level (54). Time is ticking down so I need to start grinding out all the events currently underway. They are adding the Fall Guys crossover tomorrow - good thing that is already wrapped up or else it would be event overload!

Worked a little more on my Machinist class quest but not too much. Was more excited to do the Main Scenario roulette with this class for the first time! I am really enjoying it - it feels like I do a lot of damage and the combos make sense. Going to try and play more tomorrow but, like today, plans tend to change!

Focused on my Machinist class quests this session - hoping to get it all caught up before I go back to grinding Yo-Kai weapons. That may change but we will see what peaks my interest! Really hope I get time to play with someone, but I have not minded these short solo-sessions.

Had a peaceful morning grinding FATEs in the Eastern Shroud - joined a small party and earned all the Legendary Yo-Kai medals I needed to get the next weapon. Even got an ARR FATE achievement out of the ordeal!
Next time I hopped on I did the Make It Rain event which was meh. Like, Imps are neat and all but the quest had Z E R O substance, even for a seasonal questline. But that is the price we pay for all the work being devoted elsewhere at the moment. Still got a cute outfit and I will always appreciate bonus MGP!

Earned enough medals to get the first Yo-Kai Watch weapon - it only cost 5 coins! Unfortunately, the rest of the weapons will cost 10 coins... Which means I will need 160 more random spawns... More grinding, but that is okay!

Finished out the grind for the Yo-Kai Watch minions while Brice texted Paige the entire Discord call... I have to accept that he is entering into a new stage of life and I will not be a prominent figure in his life. He told me as much. Watching movies is way more fun when you are cuddled with a girl... He is right but there is joy spending time with the ones you love no matter who they are. He does not seem to feel that way. Guess I will be wandering Eorzea solo. I got Machinist to Level 50 at least.

Grinded out half of the Yo-Kai Watch minions doing Fates in Outer La Noscea! This was the first time since I can remember that I died doing a Fate - on top of that, no one gave me a rez (super rude)... Leveled up my Machinist to 46 and won the 10k at the Mini Cactpot. Overall, it was not a bad session at all - just wish I had friends around, haha!

Hopped on quickly to start the Yo-Kai Watch event! I have no idea what that game is about, but crossovers tend to be fun in this game, so I am looking forward to the grind. Finished the quest and got the watch, now time to do Fates and earn medals until I have every minion, weapon, and mount!

Farmed some Pagos bunnies and then did my dailies with Brice! PvP was a close fought match, which was nice (better than a booty stomp). However, in a level 28 leaving roulette, we had the rudest tank imaginable. Ended actually blacklisting the guy - first time either of us ever experienced such goofiness. Well, that is what happens when a game gets more popular, haha!

Hopped on long enough to do a Vault run and get my retainers sorted out. I forgot to mention I made my third retainer to be like Lauren! She is a blonde Viera with ears that look like Charlie's! Maybe this will encourage her to start playing, haha!

Played a little and I FINALLY got my weapon coffer in Eden's Promise (Savage)! My Red Mage glamour is almost complete - only one more piece. I'm getting excited for Dawntrail, but I think I'll plan to farm more gil to buy gear.

Played a couple times and famed some runs of a dungeon ironically called The Vault, haha. Using the Blue Mage strategy, I earned like 200k gil - a slow but steady climb to have the funds to be max item level.

Did the Final Fantasy XVI crossover event - it was neat but it felt like more of an add then these crossovers typically do. Did level Machinist to 40 though, so that is a plus. Did not get to do any Eden Savage runs...

Learned the Eden's Promise (Savage) raid - still did not get my weapon, haha! The people in it were nice and now I will not feel like too big of an idiot when I run again. Did some PvP and leveling to get my Machinist to 38!

Brice and I tried to do a Party Finder for the Edne raid so I could get my glamour - it was not successful... But hey, we learned! Maybe on the next one. I also started leveling up my next class - Machinist!

Hopped back into some FFXIV on the PC. Did my Frontline Roulette and the Gold Saucer - got 1st in a Chocobo race! I pre-ordered Dawntrail too; I am beyond excited! Have to remember to redeem the bonus item code...

Played some more on the Xbox! Lauren watched this time and I got to show her the chaos of PvP, haha! I do not think it will convince her to play, though. Did some Gold Saucer shenanigans and called it a night!

Played FFXIV on the Xbox for the first time! And we party wiped on Ultima Weapon three times because the Sage refused to heal anyone, haha! But still, the novelty of getting to play one of my favorite PC games on the Xbox is worth it.

Did the Little Ladies-Hatchling Tide combo event - it was nifty and included a call back to 1.0 with having a Goobbue perform in Ul'dah! Wish I could have went through it with Brice... Still ended up with a pink Goobbue mount so that is a win!

Completed 3 runs of Eden's Promise: Eternity (Savage) - which was interesting... I did not get the weapon coffer but I did get the mount! Had to lose all my gil buying gear so went back to the classic: farming bunnies in Eureka Pagos (and hey, maybe I will get the Copycat Bulb...one day).

Made some UI changes to my HUD - looks so much better now! Enjoyed running some dailies and catching up with Brice. I miss our Final Fantasy Fridays, I hope we can start those up again!

Knocked out some Guildheists with Brice, purchased the last mount from the Moogle Tomestone event, and went on a fishing trip with my buddy. Brice also showed me a website that makes a To-Do List in FFXIV which is super handy. We went apartment hopping in my building and saw some cool things and frightening things, all of which inspired me to redo my apartment. I also got one of my last pieces of glamour for my Red Mage without grinding the trial.

Finished the Eden trials with Brice tonight - it was great! There were parts of Gaia's self-discovery that resonated with me, Brice would be the equivalent of Ryne in my life, haha! Truthfully, he and Lauren are the reasons I discovered the real Chris.

Hopped on for some buddy time with Brice! We did the Valentine's event and two of the last chunks of Eden raids. I am digging the story and what they did with Gaia (did not expect that bombshell). Next time we will finish up Eden, and then I can start hunting for my glamour pieces >:)

Did Castrum Lacus Litore for the first time - had a thrilling time (even if I died a few times lol)! The story is much better-paced than Eureka; honestly, all of Bozja feels like a significant improvement in this type of content. Going to keep at it - on to Chapter 2!

Defeated the last unsundered Ascian and returned the Scions to the Source! G'raha is quickly becoming a favorite and the final message of Patch 5.3 touched me - I see many similarities with my own life at this point. Quite fitting :)

Chipping away at MSQ - finished 5.2 and got halfway through 5.3. Story is getting truly wild! So far, post-Shadowbringers ranks high compared to the other post-expansion content (minus post-Heavensward).

Finished The Sorrow of Werlyt quests - fantastic! There were moments that I knew were coming but still a touching story and makes me appreciate what they do with a certain character. Also, MSQ has me fully invested in another classic plot twist!
