Survivor feels better than Fallen Order in every way - story, characters, gameplay, customization, exploration, enemy variety, etc.. There's still plenty of room to improve in a third game though, and I really hope that they manage to make the end of the trilogy a true 10/10 game for me.

I didn't really encounter that many technical issues on PS5 as I was expecting, but there were still a few. Thankfully, stuff like "a cutscene freezing" or "the game crashing" were all right after saves, though the fact they happened in the first place isn't great. Additionally, while gameplay was fine, cutscenes for some reason occasionally seemed to have issues with all the particles?

The main improvement I want is just for exploration to feel more rewarding. While the force crystals are nice, most of the time it feels like your reward for backtracking or finding an optional path is just a customization reward you'd never use. One of my favorite moments was when I was stumbling around exploring some paths that unlocked later in the game, and ending up in a giant area that seemed to be full of optional content that additionally unlocked an ability for me that helped with unlocking some chests and finding some more bonus paths around the world. It hurt when I realized that I just went to a place in the main storyline a bit early, and absolutely none of that was a well-crafted optional area.
