Unfortunately, not all the way there. The game is much much rougher and jankier than SA2, which I played first, which made this fairly disappointing. The open world feels tacked on, and all the arbitrary keys you have to deliver to the next level bogs down the pacing a lot. For all its clunkiness though, it is still very cool. I love the world characters and facts, and while the levels aren't as tight as in SA2, they're still okay.
