Not a huge fan of this game, it's fun but compared to later Castlevanias it doesn't have as much juice. Alucard doesn't get enough options for my tastes, and also a lot of his weapons, tools and abilities are very clunky. Also, the inverted castle, while on its face a fun post game that extends the game a good deal, drags a fair bit. This game is very very important and very very cool, but every time I play it I struggle to keep myself going strong.
