One of the best remakes of all time, I love the balance this game strikes between letting you explore and not letting you get lost. It's always pretty clear where you need to go, even when the game won't out and out tell you, I always seemed to find my way. The gameplay is really refined, the difficulty is just right, and I even like the final area tacked on with its mix of stealth, chases, and a big power spike. This is the definitive way to play the first Metroid to me. <3
