It's a really well executed hybrid of classic 2D Mario into a sort of 3D form. The gameplay and quirks of the older 2D games have translated extremely well to 3D here feeling like an authentic and original 2D Mario while actually being a brand new super novel 3D Mario. It's great! It's also really long with a whole extra 8 worlds after the first 8. Great value as well!
