A true hidden gem. Great 2d resident evil like with an interesting story.
DYA games deserves much recognition

Interesting shooter with good soundtrack. It took me some tries to finally understand how I should play it, but once I finally got it, it was a good journey. One of the final stages is too long with no "checkpoint", but overall the stages have a good size. There are some different types of weapon I had to use different combinations depending on the stage and boss (final boss for example was a combination that I haven't used the entire game).

Kinda overrated, but definitely a good game.

I've played the NSO version.

At a first look, one may drop because of the clunky controllers and a kinda weird general gameplay. However, once you get used to it, you simply cannot stop.

Dated for sure, but still a great experience even in 2023.

In terms of mechanics, it's perfect. The weapon triangle (Axe-Spear-Sword) with new additions and the totally new break system was a very welcome return to the franchise. Also, the game is very competent to present the emblems as powerful weapons that changes your entire gameplay and you also learn to fear.

However, the writing of this game is terrible. The story never convinces, and the interactions with the emblems are forgettable at least.

Even with the terrible writing, it's still a great game and totally worth a try.
