Pikmin 4 is an excellently crafted game with so much love in it, that is just not fun to play. Overall my main issue is the difficulty, its to easy. First of all there are 8 pikmin types all which you can use to complete various tasks, the main goal is to collect treasures using the pikmin to carry said treasures, with the idea being your doing this as efficiently as possible. The problem with this is that in the previous Pikmin game, Pikmin 3 there was a time limit that you had to abide by, which you could increase through collecting fruit. This game has none of that, there is nothing pushing you to complete things fast, which was the best part of the previous game. This wouldn’t be to large of an issue if the way to collect treasures were difficult, most treasures are housed in caves which are basically dungeons with lots of enemies. But the enemies are trivialized by the by the addition of oatchi a dog which you can ride on. And finally the credits play way to early, the post game is the best part of the game increasing the difficulty, but most people will miss it because the “main story” is technically finished. I know it seems like I don’t like Pikmin, but I do! I loved Pikmin 3 and I just hope they go back to a style similar to that

Undertale is a down right excellent game. The amount of passion and effort can be clearly seen. As well Undertale is quite funny especially in the opening acts, which goes hand in hand with the characters and how much personality they have. Then the music, well its one of the best video game soundtracks I have heard, a perfect song for every tone in the game. One of the major mechanics in this game this is game is to spare or kill literally any enemy you face, with bosses actually impacting the outcome if you do or do not kill. Undertale is quite short, taking around 6 hours on a first play through but thats not where it ends, every single action seemingly effects the ending, some with drastically different outcomes. One thing that i don’t like though is the story, now on a first play through the story is enjoyable, but the story you unravel through playing the secret endings of the game is just kinda confusing and overall meh. Though I do appreciate the themes and messages of said endings. Also the gameplay is a turn based RPG with random encounters, which isn’t my favourite but it adds mechanics to make hitting and being hit more engaging. But except for being more engaging than other turn based RPG’s it doesn’t change much .That being said I do recommend playing this game if you haven’t.

Excellent video game. Using the a wii remote + the gamepad, the game just feels so good. Being able to do nice and fluent movements with wii remote and then being able manage all my captains using the gamepad feels natural and intuitive and is probably the second best use of the gamepad behind mario maker. I didn't expect to enjoy the gameplay as much as I did, I expected it to be either to stressful or to laid back, but it found a great middle ground. The atmosphere and world definitely make you feel small and isolated, but also almost at home where your meant to be. Anyways, this is by no means a perfect game but its near flawless.
