4.25 / 5 honestly. Just misses hitting that 4 and a half star mark for me.

Quick Thoughts:
- Story is pretty good, but imo drags a bit in the middle and the end a tiny bit. Could've been a tiny bit shorter and still gotten its point across.

- All the new characters are lovely. I was worried coming into this I wouldn't know how to feel about them, but I enjoyed my time with them.

- Gameplay at first I really did not like whatsoever, but grew on me very quickly and became a lot of fun. However, some of the classes/characters are a bit more OP than others, and once you get a good roster going, you'll likely stick with the same 4 characters. I spent most of my game with a specific group of 4 and rarely deviated from it.

- Definitely has some balancing issues. There was a lot of the game where I was walking through the game like it was nothing only to suddenly be brickwalled by a certain chapter and had to spend just hours grinding before I could go any further. (plus having moments where you literally can't progress until you spend hours doing x, y, or z is kinda not fun for me personally)

- LaD has I think the most side mission/mini games in the series and for the most part they don't disappoint. Business management lowkey is one of the best side things they've ever done right next to Cabaret from Y0 & Rhythm game from Y5 imo.

All in all, its a really fucking good game and imo, if you're going to recommend a game for Yakuza beginners, this one easily is right up there with 0 as a perfect introduction into this crazy world of games.
