One of the best remakes of all time.

I've enjoyed my time with this game and would recommend it for anyone who enjoys a good mix of survival exploration and cozy games.

- Worth the $25USD? I think so! It's a fun game to get lost into for the price.

What I liked
- The garden, making soil and growing plants/trees that vary on the environment it's being grown on makes the gardening aspect pretty deep. It's also super rewarding seeing your labor when it all comes together because it's really gorgeous!
- The harsh difficulty when starting out, you start out on a barren wasteland and you must grow a garden from the ground-up. Luckily all of this is adjustable to tune for the players comfort.
- Rewards are fun! It rewards you well when you're out an about exploring for resources.
- Multiplayer co-op is fun! I liked joining another friend's world and helping them progress in their game.
- You can hug a frog and have them ride on your backpack.

What I didn't like
- Buggy! I've experienced a few crashes playing on my PC and Steam Deck. Frames can dip drastically at certain points of the game and especially if your garden is growing a lot in the mid-late game. It's a mostly stable experience at least.
- Combat could be better! It's relatively simple but there's not much indepth to it. Just being able to time your reflects and accurately aim at the enemies.
- Dialogue in this game cannot be mashed through. When a new dialogue message appears, the button to progress the dialogue does not appear on average 5 - 8 seconds, so it can be annoying and leads me to putting off some of the main story stuff until later.

The game is still being frequently updated with fixes and features! It's already had a good start, hopefully it'll get even better!
