Not the biggest fan of 2D Mario games, but man was this game awesome. Just so many great ideas in each level; almost every wonder effect was a new and exciting concept. The music is great (per usual of Nintendo/Mario) and the gameplay was buttery smooth. The fact this game runs in 60fps with such great graphics on a potato switch is insane. So little to critique about this game. Only thing I'll say it is a little bit on the shorter side; some of the worlds felt a little too small (World 3 and 5 especially). Still a lot of meat on the bone tho, but it was so dang fun I wish there was more.
