Pros:
- Revelations are so funny
- Mine is the goat
- Combat not as bad as I thought. Still just fine, nothing amazing (it's old)
- It having that PS3 feel made the game a little goofy but it in a good way.
- The story has a lot of twists that really caught me off guard
Cons:
- I completely understand the importance of the orphanage and how important it is to Kiryu and his growth as a character over the series. BUT...I really didn't like being in "orphanage simulator". Maybe I'll look back on those child character arcs as time passes but for the time being those first 4 chapters were a drag.
- The story seems like it's doing something cool, but it's really kind of a nothing burger by the end.
- Unfortunately, because I'm playing these games in order starting from yak0 in 2023, the engine whiplash from K2 to Y3 is really something. I got used to it, but it took awhile.

Started the game at a bad time. Not doing well mentally at the moment and just wanted something to fill my time. I've only played a few metroidvanias but they're still not really my cup of tea still as a whole. I think the game is good, but I'm just not having as good of a time as I could be. I might come back, but I really don't care to play this right now and knowing me....it might as well be abandoned
Purposely got the bad ending so I didn't have to play anymore. I could go way in depth about what's really good & what's really bad/frustrating/boring about this game for me. But I'm too lazy to type it.
I know my opinions are in the minority, and won't fault anyone for liking this game. I really did try, but it's not for me.
