god what an absolutely lovely and enjoyable game. i did not want it to end. super sweet and fun characters. everyone is unique and silly in their own little way and the plot is constantly revealing new things that keep it interesting the whole way through. they really explore so many interesting consequences of and variations on this core concept.

gameplay is extremely unique with pretty neat puzzle design unlike anything i've played before. the one gripe i have is that sometimes it is kinda annoying to sit waiting for a specific event to happen so you can do another attempt, because you are on the clock and timing matters. you can fast forward seen text, which is great, but it would have been at least nice to have a "speedup game" button at times or for there to be more checkpoints mid-level. regardless, that's a fairly minor nitpick, and i don't think it really warrants a lower score in my opinion.
