A choice based narrative that branches into dozens of paths based on your choices. It's a great concept with a simple but effective art style and interesting & creepy story beats. The absolute best thing about this game is Jonathan Sims' voice acting. as a huge fan of the Magnus Archives, I love his ability to convey different personalities through small inflections without changing his voice drastically so he was the perfect choice for this role. However, in terms of gameplay, after finding a certain amount of branches, the gameplay loop of restarting & trying to find new paths gets a bit old. So I enjoyed it for what it was and I stopped when i had enough without forcing myself to discover every path and I'd recommend that approach if you decide to check it out.

Tacoma is a wonderful little game from the devs of Gone Home where you explore a space station & uncover the stories of the previous crew in holographic recordings. Each recording depicting ensemble or concurrent solo scenes, a rewind mechanic to watch it all, the color coded silhouettes & plenty of environmental storytelling elements all develop the characters in such a minimalistic but deeply engaging style to create a lovely story. Also, a small detail I loved: whenever the protagonist needs to write something or initiate a command on the holographic operating system, they use sign language instead of a floating keyboard and it looks incredible.
