Deathloop was on my eye for a while, and when I saw it was in the Playstation Catalogue I figured I'd try it out. Unfortunately, this game wasn't for me. Seemingly anything Arkane creates has an odd way of being fun but boring to me at the same time, all while making me motion sick for some reason.

The cool thing about Deathloop is that in reality it's a puzzle game cloaked as a FPS, with an Outer-Wilds esque time loop in which you have to do things in a certain way to get to the ending.

The not cool thing about Deathloop was the boring surroundings and world that made me feel alone. I liked the two main characters but besides that none of the other ones felt real, which had me struggling to feel truly immersed in the world. Also the combat wasn't anything extraordinary, as it simply made me feel like I was back to playing Dishonored again.

All in all, Deathloop has a lot of potential and I'm sure some people can get really into it; but for me, it didn't grip me after playing for a while, so I put it down and I don't think I'll ever pick it back up.
