On a real note I think this is a pretty clear nail on the head on the weird extremely off-putting vibe I get from MonolithSoft's change in writing chops (and somehow, worse than the depths Xenosaga got to!). Personally I'm actually looking forward to coming back to it for gameplay reasons but I just wanted to say good shit

I really like that one 4chan screencap of a guy playing this game with his grandpa and wishing to be Pyra to let him fuck him, i think Yukio Mishima would also like it a lot.
