This game could have been so good dude. I’ve been thinking about it since our Journal Updated episode on it (https://t.co/OPApnEEyVd) and it’s so close to something I could like. Unfortunately it decides that it desperately needs to stick to the racism and genocide apologia that the original trilogy made the core of their morality. Ryder is a lovely protagonist and honestly I ended up liking most of the crew members more than those of the first three games too.
The game, unfortunately, just doesn’t come together. It’s riddled with bugs even after all of the patches to fix it, and the more you hear about the conditions the game was made under the more you can understand why that is. I wish there was anything redeeming about Andromeda, either in the game or in the development process, and there’s nothing.
