Hit me mommy! It's the only way to level up

P.S: (I just realized that this is actually FF4 not 2 Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!)

I honestly feel like I burn brain cells every time I try to play.

If they gave me a coin for every time I had to restart Final Fantasy 6,7,9 and Chrono trigger, i probably wouldn't become a millionaire but I could afford a coke and some candy.

But out of joke the amount of times I had to start a new game promising myself that this time if I was going to get further than the previous time and finish these things even if it was just to say that I finished them was brutal.

I always heard amazing things about the old Final Fantasy that had amazing, moving, poetic, dramatic, philosophical and thought-provoking stories, oh at least they do when their asses are on the line. Final Fantasy 6 (and all the others) only focuses on its "spectacular" plot when it doesn't make us fight over and over and over again in a forced way which is very clumsy because it goes beyond how enjoyable these battles are, they can be fun or even epic (if you take as fun a combat system that is summarized to choose commanders) as a narrative videogame this is a disgusting sin, not only because almost all the plot is told in a passive way but the player control is for pure filler, without really involving in the conflict, that's why I can't get involved with this kind of game.

Basically the entire Cell saga from Dragon Ball Z but without the cool music.

Present Day, heh... Present Time! Hahahahahahaha!
