Bought the Japanese physical edition for £30. Played it it a fair bit and got stuck on what I assume was the last boss and haven't been back to it for a while. Great graphics and gameplay - very much how my brain remembers the SNES game from my youth, but obviously vastly improved in reality!

Decent modern take on classic Castlevania but with a character switching twist. Great graphics and music and solid gameplay. Would play again or buy the sequel.

I’d forgotten about this. It plays pretty nicely.

Been playing this (on and off) since March 2017. I much prefer the free exploration of the world to the story and the ‘dungeons’ in the Divine Beasts. Just the Camel left to do, but no rush. The land of Hyrule is such a nice relaxing and absorbing place to be.

I’ve been flipping between this and the original version (picked up both for cheap in an eShop sale). I like the QoL features like being able to continue(!) and to carry two weapons. But I do not like the addition of a timer and the removal of the ghost dog attack. Also, I slightly prefer the level layouts for stage 1 and 2 on the original game. The difficulty remains unchanged.

Still plugging away at this. Still finding it frustratingly difficult. But I want to like it so much, because the graphics are beautiful and the gameplay itself is satisfying. Currently stuck on the boss of stage 2.
