This is a generic film but with a lot of potential, the engine, the fighting, the shooting even the side characters have a lot of qualities, the city is amazing, the cars, the radio.
But the main character doesn't make any sense, it's so out of the place, this doesn't not look like any of the first 2 games, this looks like a Die Hard game or a generic Steven Seagal vengeance flick and when they try to implement Mafia things into it, it feels odd because it's ridiculous.
The beautiful thing about the first two games is that you are always reminded that you are a nobody, to be someone would be impossible because you are not made, you are not part of a family, you have no money, you work and do everything that someone asks, you can be someone, but you would never be the top guy.
While the two games have different lessons, the first is about family and redemption and the second is about friendship and loyalty, this one is about killing and only killing, the thing is, killing is nothing and soulless without feeling.
There's an incredible foundation here and even then they needed a much, a much better screenplay to pull this off.

Hmm, i don't know how to even discribe this one. It's just a speedrun-esque with elements like Double Jump, Dash and Sliding, can be fun but it gets boring really fast.
The gameplay needs to be polished and fluid is a word that's not present in this gamme.

It's so slow paced, it has fundamentals but it's a chore to be a police officer, you need to check everything in the face of the earth, it too methodical. And the clunkyness do not go in favor of this game.

Finally played this game after so many years.
It has a great story, but the Quick Time Events thing is a great chore and unrewarding, besides that it has a terrific story with great characters, it really holds you until the end and it pays off.
Besides gameplay, this is a must play for the story.

I can't think about any other game with such a poor execution, the story is incredibly boring and everything you do seems like a tremendous chore.

Man this is the definition of generic and overplayed. Time to change or dump the series.
I was really disappointed, i can't imagine something more generic and unrealistic even for Max Payne levels, a disaster of sorts.

Incredible game that you can always learn something new, it's amazing how much there is to it, unfortunately the monotone gameplay get stale really quick.
A solid game that has a lot to offer, in this genre only a few games thrive and this is one of them, while the UI is awful, the game compensates in everything else, there are hundreds of builds and unique paths to take.

It's creative, but so clunky that it's a mess, they tried to replicate the film but the fluidity in action it's not here.
My god, you need stomach to play this kinda of game, jesus christ.

Platform is not really my genre, but you can't deny how good this game is, the art is livid and the gameplay flows really well.
