(note: this game was emulated with Proton on Linux because i am a massive dork)

okay this game isn't even out yet but i can already tell it has a lot of promise. i played the kickstarter demo and i just LOVE the amount of weird internet-style stuff going on with it. the graphics and animations are charming yet abstract, and the setting and character interactions just got me wanting more out of this. hopefully it comes out soonish! if you like ENA and also probably Monkey Island you should play this,

Really cool demo with a lot of really cool aesthetics at play. The change in mouse speed kinda caught me off guard, unless it's essential for something later, I feel like it should just remain at what it's set as on the machine. But otherwise, I am obsessed with the visual style here. Very much looking forward to the full release.

sure, the gameplay's a little unrealistic, the commentary's buggy, and the season mode leaves a lot to be desired. i don't care. you have to play this for success mode: a persona-inspired take on nba 2k's myplayer mode with endless replayability. it doesn't hurt that the graphics are adorable and the stadiums are faithfully reproduced. 07 is slightly superior to its successor, imo, but both are great

great multiplayer game and the rpg story mode is great. do not play as the red sox or ill kick your ass

This is a better visual novel than some visual novels I've played. Extremely fun game that is criminally underlooked. Success mode alone makes this worth checking out, even if you don't really have any interest in baseball. It's a shame we only got two of these outside of Japan.

Also Marvin is the GOAT

had to get my mom to solve that goddamn dna puzzle every time

genuinely such a fun game. i'm so mad we never got a sequel. the ending got me so enraged

i shit you not i cried when i finished playing this game that's how much i liked it back when i was a kid

This game was fire and I'm tired of pretending it wasn't.

The fact Melee still stands tall 20+ years later despite so many games trying and failing to top it is a testament to how much of a miracle it is. There will probably never be anything quite like it again and that's fine. Long live Melee.
