It's a third-person shooter that still hasn't quite absorbed the Gears of War formula with its controls and gunplay. And yet, the game still holds up because of the cross-com gameplay. Some of them are gimmicky, but a lot of them add genuine twist to each level, even if they are very limited in what they can allow you to do. It's a great romp that does not overstay its welcome.

It runs absolutely terribly, however. I thought it was the PS3 port issue, but googling suggests that it was one of the few early PS3 ports that achieved parity with its XBOX counterpart.
