This game is not terrible. Certainly not as bad as it was during launch. I just think it should be played with your friends. You CAN play it alone and you MIGHT find some fun in that. It's a huuuge world to explore. But the experience is better with friends. :)

I rented this from Blockbuster around 1997 - 2003.

I tried it for a bit to see how good my aim is. My aim is not good.

My dad used to take me to arcades all the time and this machine was his favorite. It gives me great nostalgia.

I played this one for a few months. I never got tired of it. Holds a special place in my heart. I would come home from shitty school to this fireplace of a game.

Amazing game. Sharper gameplay, amazing story continuation of Ezio from the second game, and Rome is a beautiful destination. I just think the game felt a bit lackluster towards the end. Like the franchise was beginning to feel like the juice was running out.

The ending pissed me off. I was broke at the time and begged for this game. $60. I loved the setting, the gameplay was cool since it added flintlocks and muskets and stuff... the music was alright, Assassin story was good. The modern-day story ending made me so upset. I briefly lost interest in the franchise. I felt betrayed. Like me playing every AC before that suddenly didn't matter. Only it did. I still went through those historical playgrounds. I had lots of fun in them. And this one was no exception. It just felt like there was this hint of Ubisoft chicanery I cannot get over, to this day.
