According to the Switch's own logging, I spent 190+ hours playing this game — that's around 5 hours per day in average, from the day i started it (which was release day).

I don't think any other game has captivated me this much before.

It's massive in size, content, and possibilities. It really makes the previous game feel like a prototype. Its shortcomings are easily eclipsed by its strengths and charms.

An indisputable benchmark for years to come.

I loved that it was "the same Hyrule as before" even though it actually is not. Just like the Yakuza games, it's great to explore a familiar place but discover how it's changed or evolved over time.

And of course, the extra layers added to the world are overwhelmingly impressive: the sky islands, The Depths, the caves system; it's staggering.

(PLOT SPOILERS in this comment! Do not read further if you care and haven't finished the Main Objectives!):

I loved how from the player's point of view, Link and Zelda's "presents" are happening at more of less the same time; yes, she went 10K years back in time, but from her point of view she was with Link just minutes before that time-jump. And then whatever amount time she spent in the past was probably around the same amount of time Link spends "in parallel" in the present gathering the sages and defeating the Demon King and whatnot. Like they're working on it "together" even though they're thousands of years apart.

Lovely time-travel mind-wrinkling!
