games peaked artistically with this one

if you don't like this game you either don't like playing pokémon or don't like old JRPGs or both

very cool, i wish it had a good console port so i could have a more structured playthrough but i think it's the most fully-formed of capcom's 90s beat em ups

This game is more fun with less enemies onscreen actually

extremely fucking cool but unfortunately doesn't get enough time to iterate on its ideas. combat and scoring could really be something special but they're just not quite there

very fucking cool. unique take on a more strategic, slow-paced Gauntlet-like game. the reset/rewind features in the SEGA AGES release really allow it to be more easily appreciated, as it makes death less punishing and attempts all around faster. M2 thoughtfully adding features that make classics more approachable in the modern day without breaking the core of what makes them great, who would've thought?
still, without said features, the game may be too punishing overall.

one of the best platformers on genesis. visually stunning, great ost, really satisfying movement and core mechanics. held back by some levels that kinda suck and combat that's way overcentralized on the uncharged spark move which is one of the most broken moves in all platformers

still working on the 1CC, one of the best shmups i ever played. fun weapons, cool spectacle, very tight pacing and level design all while feeling very fair and respectful of you as a gamer. compile da best shmup guys
