i really loved how this game built upon the turn-based gameplay from Yakuza 7 and was also pretty impressed by the spread of side content they gave us this time around, but the story didn't quite reach the heights i was expecting. i loved almost all of the new characters and was glad to see familiar faces interact in different ways, but the last 25% of the game + the ending didn't really do them justice at all. kind of a shame since it's pretty much the only stain on an otherwise excellent game

an incredibly slick re-imagining of persona 3 that brings it up to modern standards while keeping true to what made the original so powerful. it's not without a couple flaws in regards to its presentation, but they made sure to nail all the important parts so its all good

had to spend a LONG time collecting my thoughts on this one - it's definitely a massive step up from the first one in terms of content and overall refinement. the open world activities are a little bit of a slog but the fact that they're completely optional means i'm not very down on them. soundtrack still bangs.
