Like listening to a friend who's gone on a huge binge of sci fi media of the last 40 years talk about the stories in bits and pieces while cycling through them. The infectious love of the tropes is preserved, as is the solid, pure block of plot, without any of the character or purpose.

Bruh, the characters are really well-written. All of them get a lot of development and you just gain a deeper appreciation for them the more you learn about them. And there is a purpose in this game. It’s basically telling us that human can try again and we can start all over again as long as there is still life. And you say “solid, pure block of plot” like it’s either bad for a game to be plot-focused or the plot is actually bad. Like, how is the plot of the game even bad exactly? And visual novels literally exist, you know.
