Very fun single player in this one - the menus, in particular, have a good progression. It's a better introduction to Gran Turismo than I remember from past games and brought me throughout the offerings of the game. Single-make races and track unlocks are steady, and I found myself enjoying the tuning, practice laps, license exams, and missions more than in the last several entries. Too bad the economy is a complete mess, not to mention the obviously terrible odds on the roulette tickets. The game would simply be better without them. Oh well, the racing is the focus and highlight, anyway, and the racing is good.
