ridiculously hard at first but once you get the hang of the game and the bosses it becomes immediately waaaay too easy. it's super weird. i struggled with meg a lot and the same run i beat her i reached hades like i was instantly a pro or something lol

anyway very repetitive and it's kind of a drag that you have to unlock lore by playing over and over again (it got to the point where after i beat the main storyline i just decided to randomly die to get home asap and give everyone nectar for a crumb of new dialogue), not to mention that getting enough nectar for everyone, trying to guess what everyone's special request is and whatnot is a huuuuge bore. some things could've been handled a bit better

however i dont think it's a bad game at all. the characters are charming, the story is sweet and experimenting with weapons can be super fun. the "pact of punishment" adds a bit of spice when it gets boring in the log run.
it's supergiant's first big game (transistor has a very small dedicated fanbase and bastion....... some people mention bastion nowadays i guess. pyre exists.) and im happy for them; you can tell theyre still exploring and finding their "thing" - thats great!

hopefully supergiant will keep bringing games like hades but better. it's very obvious that they care about their fanbase and they try their best every time

tl;dr: play hades and if you wanna reach the epilogue just look up a walkthrough man

ps: fuck theseus lol

fuck this game and its dirty dirty animals
