i thoroughly enjoyed watching kiryu type "boooobs" using only his index fingers like a stupid monkey in the camgirl minigame (i type like that also). slinging enemies around in the new engine is fun too even if everything else about the combat feels kinda like a downgrade

classic. timeless. the human brain is hardwired to enjoy fitting blocks into tight spaces. i'll take it a step further and say that you're probably not human unless you like tetris

l4u says fuck auditions and weekly trends and lets your idols dance around in silly outfits independently of any of that. pretty much a live customizer/viewer rather than a traditional game. i can dress haruka up in all manner of ridiculous costumes AND i don't have to worry about the judges shooting her in the head because her stats suck. splendid. even if the rhythm minigame is kinda basic the emphasis on customization easily makes up for that. dlc is highly recommended since that's where a lot of the awesome content comes from (look at this)

liked this game when i was younger and it's still pretty fun even as a grown ass dude. i remember being drawn to it because the concept of accumulating junk to reach a greater goal reminded me of katamari. wouldn't be surprised if it was inspired somewhat. simple and repetitive but a good time all the same

nothing crazy as far as rhythm games go but it's alright. if you're an idolmaster fan you probably won't hate it! the anime episodes bundled with each version of the game were fun though so i'd say that's reason enough for it to exist

there is a very unique feeling of dread that accompanies failure in this game. if haruka is sad it's a result of my own incompetence as her producer. when i detect even the slightest of frowns on her face i punch a hole or two through my wall out of frustration. every inconvenience i run into only proves to strengthen my resolve to always look forward and bear with the ever increasing number of holes in my wall until i can give haruka (and the other idols i guess) the happy ending she deserves. this level of emotional investment tying directly to gameplay makes each win or loss hit so much harder. it's genius. peak. kino

an improvement over the first project diva in every way you can imagine. there are a couple of dlc packs made in collaboration with the idolmaster that aren't listed on the site (yet!) and they're fucking AWESOME

i was so close to ending it all and dedicating a large portion of my suicide note to sonic team but i managed to clear the final trial with a single ring remaining. fuck you wyvern

ah ah ah i won't be sucked back into pizza tower that easily (he was sucked back into pizza tower that easily)

too short. if they made you play the game an additional 20 times i think it would've been received more positively

only being able to access dlc songs through the edit mode is kinda annoying but the hello planet minigame is cute i guess

the last couple games were great but i like how multiple playable characters are handled in this game much more. 6 fighting styles (plus 2 unlockable ones) divided between 2 protagonists just feels a lot less cramped in the context of both gameplay and story

combined steins;gate and epstein to create epstein's gate. funny game

i find it funny that the mega mushroom was so heavily advertised (look at the cover) but nintendo could only find like 1 or 2 levels to put it in so to keep it relevant half of the toad houses are completely useless

having my fruit shot upwards at 99999 mph immediately resulting in a loss definitely does not make me want to shoot myself in the head
