A very moving story, cute minigames, and a beautiful art style. Overall an enjoyable short game that was able to capture some very raw emotions, I definitely cried.

Mutazione is a narrative based game with strong ambience, fascinating and likeable characters, a lovely and unique art style, and a story that keeps you coming back for more.

The basic gameplay is point and click exploring, with some whimsical musical elements, but the story is the main focus. The pace is pretty leisurely, apparently you can finish everything in 6hrs but it took me twice that. If you're the type of person who wants to explore every bit of dialogue like I am, you'll probably enjoy Mutazione.

The creators are so good at capturing the essence of small town life that they made me nostalgic for a place I've never been to before. From a technical perspective, I didn't experience any bugs, the game feels well made. I docked it half a star just because the ending didn't full deliver the gut punch I would've desired (it felt a little bit rushed?) but that could just be personal taste.

This quickly became one of the games I'm most likely to recommend to friends, putting it on the same shelf as games like Kentucky Route Zero and Night in the Woods.

I really enjoyed Teacup for the engaging story, beautiful art, and the variety of minigames. I completed the game in about 3hrs, which was the perfect amount of time. For the most part everything felt really polished, though there were a few spelling errors in the tea encyclopedia, but mechanic wise everything worked really well and nothing felt too frustrating.

Would definitely recommend Teacup to other folks who like cozy or narrative games!

2021

As much as I wanted to like this game, I found the game mechanics tedious after the first few rounds. The plot also didn't provide enough to make me want to keep going. I dropped the game without reaching the ending, but based on other reviews here I don't think I missed out on much that would've changed my opinion. I think there was the foundations of a good idea, but it didn't follow through.

Also, not the games fault, but it did give me motion sickness after a while. The extreme contrasting colours probably did not help.

Really great sequel to the first Frog Detective game, it has the same funny banter, lots of twists and turns near the end. It felt a little bit shorter than the first game, but maybe that's just because I was more used to what to expect. Still recommend!

Short game with witty and enjoyable dialogue. The characters are very... interesting. I can't wait to play the second game!

The thing that stands out most to me about this game is the beautiful pixel art. The setting is gorgeous, and I was constantly stopping to enjoy the visuals. This is a student made game, but it still took me a bit over an hour to complete. Some of the mechanics are a little bit finicky, but overall the gameplay was enjoyable and the plot makes sense. It could definitely be expanded upon into a larger game. I would recommend this game to others for sure!

A short and sweet game that involves clearing puzzles to create melodies and clear levels. I found the steering a little bit difficult to get used to but otherwise it was very enjoyable, something you could play more than once if you just wanted to chill with the calming music.

Had a wonderful experience exploring this game, it's quite peaceful and the aesthetics at times nod to vaporwave.

Played this in October for Halloween, it was really cute and enjoyable. As other comments have said it's a bit more edutainment than game (unlike npckc's other works) but that makes it special in it's own way.

As much as this is a cute game, it did legitimately spook me at some points! The puzzles were fun and just the right amount of challenge for a casual game.

An enjoyable game with a cute storyline, it was a good, cozy time!

Really enjoyed this game in all aspects. The gameplay is fun (narrative based but with some little mini games built in), the art is beautiful, the story is intriguing. Beyond just being a good game I felt like it really gives you something to think about once you're done, and it awakened a sense of nostalgia in me for times past.

Lovely art and a wonderful story, I really enjoyed this game!
